That's Incorrect!

You Chose "A" Watch out for friendly enemies – That's Incorrect!

The Hogwarts' motto, Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus, means "Never tickle a sleeping dragon."

When Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin first established Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, they put into place many of the core features of the school, like the house system and educational standards. Some time in the early days of the school, the group also decided upon Hogwarts' motto, Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus.

The translation, "Never tickle a sleeping dragon," can be taken at face value as a statement about conflict. A dragon is at its least dangerous while asleep, and tickling it would unnecessarily provoke it into a likely dangerous situation. In other words, while there are times conflict is impossible to avoid, it shouldn't be sought after simply out of curiosity, or there can be dire consequences. These are wise words for Harry Potter and the other students to remember.
